Ronke Kuye is the Chief Executive Officer of the Shared Agent Network Expansion Facilities Limited (SANEF), an initiative of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), supported by the Deposit Money Banks, Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement Systems [NIBSS] and licensed Mobile Money Operators/Shared Agents. In the bid to drive financial inclusion, SANEF plans to roll out the 500,000 registered agent network, to provide financial services across Nigeria on or before the year 2020.
Ronke’s Banking experience which spans over 24 years included setting up a successful Card business and alternative channels of payment. Her notable achievements include the launching of the first Naira denominated MasterCard (accepted worldwide) in Nigeria and the first MasterCard World Card in Africa.
She was a member of the CBN Payment Scheme Board [PSV 2020] Cards Working Group that was responsible for setting the current industry guidelines/standards on payment cards. She was also one of the three founding members and the founding chairman of the Committee of e-Banking Industry Heads (CeBIH) and currently sits on its advisory board.
With her passion for the payment industry, Ronke brings her expertise and wealth of knowledge in this field to enhance SANEF and boost the financial inclusion landscape in Nigeria. SANEF will create a platform for financial services companies in Nigeria to grow, and create jobs for young Nigerians; as such, wherever SANEF logo is seen, Nigerians can carry out financial services.
